Sophomore

Boys Hockey Forward

Platt recorded a hat trick against Northfield on Saturday, helping the Highlanders (4-0) skate to a 6-0 victory at Kreitzberg Arena. The three-sport standout has played a huge role in his team's turnaround this winter after Harwood finished 7-10-3 last season. He and classmate Finn O'Hara have played on the same line since they were Mites in the Harwood Youth Hockey program, and their one-ice chemistry has been undeniable at the varsity level. The Highlanders kicked off the season with two victories in a span of 24 hours at the Charlie Burchard Tournament at Leddy Park. Harwood cruised a 5-1 win over Mount Mansfield in the opener before handing St. Johnsbury its first loss of the season with a 3-1 win in the final. Harwood also rolled to a 5-1 victory over Burlington and has outscored opponents 19-3. The Highlanders will host Mount Mansfield at 3 p.m. Saturday.
