The upperclass slugger went a combined 7-for-8 offensively while leading the Crimson Tide to their first two victories of the season. Johnson reached base every time she stepped up to the plate against Harwood, fueling a 17-5 victory. The Tide batters punished the Highlanders early and often, scoring 10 runs in the first inning. Johnson wound going up 3-for-3 with a double, a triple, a home run and four RBIs. She picked up where she left off Saturday by lifting the Tide to a 19-6 victory at Randolph. Johnson went 4-for-5 against the Galloping Ghosts with a home run, a triple, a double, three RBIs and three runs scored.
