U-32 Boys Basketball

Junior Forward

Baseball may be Kellington's top sport, but his presence on the basketball court has been huge for the 5-0 Raiders. Kellington's defensive intensity helped U-32 hold Rutland and BFA-St. Albans to 16-point efforts in the first half. He finished with 10 points, six rebounds and five blocks in a 51-45 victory over Rutland. He followed that up with 14 points, five rebounds, four assists and two blocks in a 54-41 victory over Harwood. He showed nerves of steel against BFA, going 5 of 7 from the foul line in the fourth quarter to close out a 44-33 victory. Kellington wound up with 21 points and seven rebounds against the Bobwhites, accounting for nine of his team's 15 points in the fourth quarter. U-32 will travel to play Hartford at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
