Williamstown Boys Basketball

Senior Guard

Things turned around quickly for Tassie and the Blue Devils after they dropped their first six games of the season. The versatile playmaker helped his team get the monkey off its back with a 70-29 victory over Craftsbury. A few days later he erupted for 20 points in a 54-47 victory over BFA-Fairfax. He entered Friday's game against Peoples Academy in need of 24 points to reach the 1,000-point milestone, and that's exactly what he delivered during a 72-44 victory over the Wolves. Tassie joins an exclusive list of Williamstown boys players to accomplish the feat, following in the footsteps of Tom Bottiggi, Bobby George, Greg Barney, T.J. Bottiggi, Adam Wheatley, Jason Manwaring, Hunter McLaughlin and Brandon Carrier. Williamstown will host Oxbow at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
