Curtin rushed to the rescue at critical points during Saturday's 6-5 victory over Woodstock. The Wasps built a 2-0 lead five minutes into the opening period, but Curtin scored 49 seconds later to keep things close. She capped her hat trick with a pair of second-period goals and extended the lead to 5-2 with a breakaway in the third period. Woodstock stormed back with a trio of unanswered goals down the stretch, knotting the score at 5 to force overtime. Curtin stole the show again in the extra period, scoring the game-winning goal at 2:33 on an assist from Caitlyn Fielder. Earlier in the week Curtin recorded one goal and one assist during a 7-3 loss to Spaulding. U-32 (5-10) will host Brattleboro at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday.
