Firewood program

Cara Barbero, with the Montpelier Parks and Trees department, and AmeriCorps member Ethan Dean construct a protective structure this week at the FEAST Garden in Montpelier. The structure will be a processing and storage facility for the city’s firewood program. When the city removes dead or diseased trees they are cut and sold as firewood to the public.
