‘Cram a Conference Room’

Linda Meleady, development coordinator at the Vermont Center for Independent Living, adds cans to a pile of donated food items Wednesday at the organization’s Montpelier office. The VCIL is holding a food drive, dubbed “Cram a Conference Room,” for the Montpelier Food Pantry, which has seen a surge in demand recently. People who make a donation at the 11 East State St. office will receive a resuable shopping bag. The drive wraps up at the end of the day on Friday.
