A Hard Look

A Hard Look

Visitors take in one of several multimedia displays Thursday at Montpelier High School during a public presentation of “Blueprints: Mapping the Journey from Apathy to Empathy.” Sophomores at the school turned interviews with community members into audio/visual art installations. Students worked with four MHS teachers and musician Evan Premo, visual artist Gowri Savoor, and Vermont Folklife Center Media Producer Mary Wesley to produce the works. The project was designed at the Vermont Creative Schools Initiative Teaching Institute which is a program of the Community Engagement Lab.
