As you know, we have outgrown our quaint space on East State Street. Our expansion and relocation to 114 Main Street will allow for many advantages to our current and future patients: with increased parking from two to 12 spaces, a larger footprint for more examination rooms and the addition of advanced diagnostic technology. This maturation of our Montpelier clinic will require additional hiring of both staff and a second physician, which will benefit our current patients through more examination openings and therefore, less wait time in scheduling care.

Growth of any business in our state presents many unique and difficult challenges, but we, at Shippee Family Eye Care, believe in the reinvestment of our small business back into the community. While we understand the sadness over the relocation of current tenants, we wish them only the best in their continued success. Our move to Main Street allows us to continue to care for our patients downtown, and not relocate somewhere outside of this area or outside the city of Montpelier. We believe that Shippee Family Eye Care has a direct and measurable benefit on the local downtown business, and believe keeping health care accessible for our patients is vital to saving time and cost to our patients and the growth of Vermont's downtown economy.

We hope you share our enthusiasm for this project and we look forward to seeing you in our new location in 2019.
