On behalf of the thousands of community members who we have served throughout this long and cold winter, thank you for your generous support for our Fuel Your Neighbors campaign. This winter we have seen a 35% increase in demand for our crisis heating assistance and have had over 3,500 visits from households to our Barre food shelf during the 100 days of our campaign. Your contribution makes a huge difference in helping people have food on their tables and a warm home to sleep in.

We would like to extend a special appreciation to the many businesses who graciously supported our campaign, enabling us to beat our goal of $100,000 in 100 Days. In total, we raised $137,000 for emergency food and heat for Central Vermonters in need. Thank you to: VSECU, CVMC, The Alchemist , National Life Group and Lawson’s Finest Liquids, The Point FM, Hickok & Boardman, NorthCountry Federal Credit Union, Northfield Savings Bank, Mutual of America, FirstLight, Leonne McDowell Roberts, Cigna, Washington Electric Cooperative, Consolidated Communications, Vermont Gas, Red Hen Bakery, Passumpsic Bank, Cork Wine Bar, Three Penny Taproom and Blackback Pub.

Together, we are changing lives and building stronger communities.
