You know, I am not one to prefer light beer, or decaffeinated coffee for that matter. I don’t see the point. Give me the real deal.

Lately, I have been watching the soft-shoe shuffle of our politicians dancing to the tune the news pundits eagerly played. Subpoenas flying, obstruction stonewalling, potential for action as likely as me winning the Good Housekeeping charade. But out of all of this, I can see a compromise.

Impeachment-light, granted, it is not the real deal. Impeachment requires the Senate as a jury. We all know that jury will never vote against Trump for fear of loss of the political pork within which they wallow like the pigs they are.

Impeachment-light, however, provides a continuation of the search and exposure of that which we all know is true. It just provides it in a venue parallel to, yet a distance from, all-out impeachment.

We may be seeing the embryonic phase of such a development. Barr being held in contempt and Don Junior being subpoenaed to appear before the Senate Intel Committee may move us closer to the full-figured truth — the real deal.

Kirk

Mr. Blakely, why don't you show us your tax returns, it is not incumbent upon anyone of us to share our tax returns with John Q. Public. What part of that do you not understand?!?
Congress sets the limitations to tax write-offs that the IRS enforces, only a fool would not embrace that to which one is entitled to, I embrace tax write-offs and so should you and Mr. Trump. Business losses were something I tried to do every year for 29+ years and if you decided not to take advantage of certain write-off, well, that is/was your personal decision but don't decide for me and/or Mr. Trump.
Testify for what?!? I am looking forward to the investigation into the attempted political coup, why do you think there is this constant barrage of investigations by the 'left'. Diversion comes to mind :-/

AlfredSBlakey

It is the little things Kirk.

"There is, in fact, a federal tax law that specifically states if the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee makes a written request for an individual’s tax returns — as Rep. Richard Neal has done seeking Trump’s — the Treasury secretary “shall furnish” those returns. The law says those returns would be reviewed confidentially in an executive session."

My tax returns have not been requested, if they asked for them they would get them BY LAW. Why should Trump be above that LAW?

Congressional investigations, Kirk? Really! Ten investigations were conducted into the 2012 Benghazi attack, six of these by Republican-controlled House committees. "After more than two years and more than $7 million in taxpayer funds, the Committee report has not found anything to contradict the conclusions of the multiple, earlier investigations," Fallon added. "This report just confirms what Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and even one of Trey Gowdy's own former staffers admitted months ago: this Committee's chief goal is to politicize the deaths of four brave Americans in order to try to attack the Obama administration and hurt Hillary Clinton's campaign."

And one other little thing, Kirk. My last name is Blakey not Blaklely. But then Trump can't spell either. Red Socks comes to mind.

Kirk

You are partly correct in the request for Tax Returns, however one needs to be the defendant of a suspected crime. Audits are treated differently. What is the crime commented by Mr. Trump.

Hillary was 'in charge' and failed her duties as Secretary of State and Obummer was fast asleep while those brave Americans were murdered. Hey, where is Seth Rich, guess he knew too much :-/

Geeze, $25+ million later and no collusion or crime committed as evidence by the Mueller report. I am satisfied, are you not? If not, why not?

AlfredSBlakey

Kirk, Not "partly correct" correct, period. The 1924 law states "Shall provide" there is no qualifier. $25 million in today's money maybe, but there were multiple (10) Benghazi investigations not just the one at $7 million. $100 million and growing for Golf at his own places, taking taxpayer money to pay himself, is fine with you however!

Bottom line Kirk, you ignore: "Trey Gowdy's own former staffers admitted months ago: this Committee's chief goal is to politicize the deaths of four brave Americans in order to try to attack the Obama administration and hurt Hillary Clinton's campaign." and you continue to politicize it by regurgitating the same rhetoric.

I am astonished that you are so ignorant of the results "no collusion or crime committed as evidence by the Mueller report." REALLY? So the charges, guilty pleas, jail sentences, incarcerations, and ongoing cases before courts currently already in place resulting from the report to date are NOTHING. If there really is nothing concerning Trump why is he refusing on ALL LEVELS to cooperate? Why isn't the report released to the taxpayers who paid for it? Unredacted, in full if he is not involved what is he hiding? The Benghazi reports, all of them, resulted in no charges for anyone, no convictions for anyone, no jail time for anyone.

Kirk

Al, I am fine with locking kids in cages :-

Kirk

Let's talk about Milton Hershey, a 'great' businessman who went bankrupt three times. But like the typical liberal would do, 'let's just not talk about that for the agreement may not go my way' :-

Kirk

Hey AL, what do think about Milton Hershey, and you never responded about Peter Storek :-/

AlfredSBlakey

Kirk, you say I have not responded to "Peter Storek" or "Milton Hershey."

Where in Mr. Gay's letter did he reference either of them?

Your attempt to avoid, by distraction, the issue at hand falls directly in line with the loser you support.

ONE lie, over oral sex, and the Republicans fall all over themselves with impeachment proceedings against Clinton.

Lies about involvement with Russians, sexual assault (Hollywood tape), cheating on his wife(s) (more than once) and paying hush money to cover it up, emoluments - paying himself to play golf is but one example, racism, abuse of power (mandating NO ONE cooperate with investigations), claims of executive privilege where the information is already a matter of public record, accusations of treason against the FBI, appointments (too many to count) to his administration (he is in charge of) who have left office and are under investigation themselves, mandated throwing children in cages, nepotism and security clearances - over riding failed security clearances (again, too many to count), cronyism in its highest form, criminal conspiracy - individual-1, inciting violence - "I could shoot someone and not lose votes" obstruction, and more. And what do the Republicans do? crickets, . . . . . .

The sad part of this is his base, you included apparently Kirk, know this information and still support him because he validates your beliefs.

Dignity, integrity, honesty, care of those, who can not provide for themselves the basic needs of life, are being destroyed by this presidency.

"Democratic presidencies dating back to 1970 have produced exactly one criminal conviction from investigations into the administration. Republican presidencies have had a total of 91." but you probably know that also Kirk.

Kirk

Come on Al, you have never addressed Peter Storek, why? You have never addressed Milton Hershey, why?

Come on Al, think about it, the charges that you are referring to are nothing more than IRS tax evasion, not collusion with the Soviets. Geeze, I'll bet ya if I looked into your taxes I could find irregularities and with most folks the IRS could find faults. Actually, I am astonished that you are so gullible and brain washed to be a supporter of the side that supports Socialism.

Like my late father use to say, "shoot first, ask questions later" and I will do whatever it takes to defend to that which he fought for in the 'big one'..WWII 2x's Purple Heart and Bronze Star of Valor recipient for the campaign at the Battle of the Bulge.

Trump 2020

AlfredSBlakey

Thank you Kirk. You just confirmed what I have been saying. Ask yourself if your late father would have agreed with Trump when he said “I like taking the guns early," Trump's position is - worry about due process later. His position is to heck with the law. Nice to see you agree with that Kirk.

So you agree with locking kids in cages also. You agree with the "nepotism and security clearances - over riding failed security clearances" You agree with " inciting violence - "I could shoot someone and not lose votes" and at a recent rally Trump just "laughed off" "'Shoot them!': a supporter's demand for violence against immigrants.

AlfredSBlakey

Trump 2020, there is not much doubt in my mind Trump will be a two term president. The first destroying the republic, the second incarcerated in prison.

Kirk

In the last 30 years, 56 people who have worked closely with the inter-workings of the Clinton Cartel have died. Some 14 have committed suicide (yeah, right), 8 have died in automobile crashes (yeah right), and 14 deaths can't be explained.

And then you wonder why so many people still have the Clintons 'in their heads'. Thank-you Al, you have just confirmed how you are a stanch supporter of the 'Cartel'.

Kirk

Oh, remember how many staffers the former First Lady of the former #44 imposter needed to follow her around and the many vacations 'they' took?!? Talk about a waste of tax payer monies :-/

Howzabout Hillary Clinton stealing government property from the White House at her exit stage left:-

AlfredSBlakey

Still with Hillary! She is living rent free in Trump's head and yours as well it seems.

Kirk

Oh, just another tid bit, If by disclosure of the taxes it is found that there is a conflict of interest that may be contrary to our Constitution...….key word is 'IF'. Again, Al, the IRS appears to have no problem with the Trump empire involvement into foreign investments, so why should you?
Oh, and another thing, you state the "politicizing of the deaths of four brave Americans in order to attack the Obama administration and hurt the Hillary campaign", you state that as if that was a bad thing to do. I don't see the problem.

AlfredSBlakey

Again you confirm what I have said, Kirk.

Kirk you replied to me - "you state"

NO I did not state "politicizing of the deaths of four brave Americans in order to attack the Obama administration and hurt the Hillary campaign", Kirk. Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and even one of Trey Gowdy's own former staffers STATED THAT, I quoted them. But then you are making up your own truths just like Trump and his 10,000+ documented lies to date.

You on the other hand did state - "Come on Al, think about it, the charges that you are referring to are nothing more than IRS tax evasion." Tax evasion is a crime Kirk, a crime, but you are trying to pass it off as no big deal since Trump is doing it.

Again you know the truth, Kirk, but you don't care because Trump validates what you believe. Sad.

Kirk

May 13, 2019 @ 4:22 pm you raised the question...….."Name another "great businessman" who loses over a billion dollars in just ten years."...that was you Al :-

AlfredSBlakey

Kirk, key word being "great" Trump claims he is a "great" businessman. Last I knew it took more than losing money to be called "great"

Kirk

"The sad part of this is his base, you included apparently Kirk, know this information and still support him because he validates your beliefs." Bingo, you are correct on this one, although I am not a registered Republican :-)

"Dignity, integrity, honesty, care of those, who can not provide for themselves the basic needs of life, are being destroyed by this presidency." Really....LOL, you are humorous :--)

Kirk

"nepotism and security clearances - over riding failed security clearances (again, too many to count), cronyism in its highest form,"...…..Al, you act as if hiring one's own family is a crime. It is not (period).

"criminal conspiracy - individual-1, inciting violence - "I could shoot someone and not lose votes" obstruction, and more." And now a figure of speech is a crime...…...LOL :-) Howzabout that muslim (sorry spell check, I don't capitalize the word muslim) gal who stated that she wants to see that 'mother*#^ker impeached. Ahhh heck, that's ok AL, let's just overlook that like you do with many of your arguments.

AlfredSBlakey

Kirk, Kirk, Kirk... ".Al, you act as if hiring one's own family is a crime. It is not (period)."

IT IS A CRIME!

5 U.S. Code § 3110. Employment of relatives; restrictions

(b) A public official may not appoint, employ, promote, advance, or advocate for appointment, employment, promotion, or advancement, in or to a civilian position in the agency in which he is serving or over which he exercises jurisdiction or control any individual who is a relative of the public official. An individual may not be appointed, employed, promoted, or advanced in or to a civilian position in an agency if such appointment, employment, promotion, or advancement has been advocated by a public official, serving in or exercising jurisdiction or control over the agency, who is a relative of the individual.

You never address the issues Kirk. One more attempted distraction "Howzabout ...." Trump is individual-1, it is a criminal conspiracy. What someone else is doing has no bearing on it. I have to ask, is the "gal's" apartment in your head right next to Hillary's?

Kirk

There is not a day that the 'base' doesn't think about the ole decrepit 'Hill' :-/

Kirk

"Ask yourself if your late father would have agreed with Trump when he said “I like taking the guns early," Trump's position is - worry about due process later. His position is to heck with the law. Nice to see you agree with that Kirk."

Al, I see you conveniently left out the part that Mr. Trump was referring to folks who are declared 'mentally unstable', but I have to give you some credit as you reflect the 'fake news' media. The military will not allow mentally unstable folks into the military, hence the military participates in that same notion of not favoring to have 'goof balls' armed. Al, you see-saw when it favors your talking points much like Bernie Sanders.

AlfredSBlakey

Feb 2017 Trump signed a bill reversing the rule to ban gun purchases by mentally ill - that would give them the right to have guns Kirk, not take it away.

Kirk

Al, it has always been a 'right' for anyone of legal age to have and possess guns...….nothing new to see here Al.

Kirk

Al, politics is politics and 'if' true dirt is brought to the surface on the 'former' Obama administration and the Hillary campaign, so what. I don't care if it comes from the Russians, Irish, Kentucky Hillbillies, or the Eskimos of the North Slope.

Bob P

As usual, Al you are wrong on the gun Bill and mentally ill. Trump did away with a bill that said that any Veteran or elderly that needed someone to come in and pay their bills for them, could not purchase a firearm. Last I checked, just because you have a problem writing a check or paying a bill on line, that does not equate equate to a mental illness. Again you just use left talking points without researching.

Kirk

Hillary will soon be living 'rent free' with a new room mate by the name of Peaches...…..Peaches loves shower games :-)

Kirk

Al, you missed the mark again. Your President and mine, Mr. Trump, was/is not accused of tax evasion nor has he been charged with tax evasion. Those folks you are referring to were not charged with Russian collusion, they were charged with tax evasion, nothing to do with Russian collusion, the original scope of the investigations.
Mr.Trump is a very smart businessman and knows how to work the tax system as set-up by Congress and enforced by the IRS, how do you think he became so rich over the decades. Al, stick to your keyboard antics, for running a lemonade stand would be too challenging for you :-/

Kirk

(b) A public official may not appoint, employ, promote, advance, or advocate for appointment, employment, promotion, or advancement, in or to a civilian position in the agency in which he is serving or over which he exercises jurisdiction or control any individual who is a relative of the public official.

The key words you have missed AL,...……...'civilian agency''

AlfredSBlakey

Nice try Kirk.

You missed the reality, something common in Trump and his supporters.

The Code of Laws of the United States of America (variously abbreviated to Code of Laws of the United States, United States Code, U.S. Code, U.S.C., or USC) is the official compilation and codification of the general and permanent federal statutes of the United States.

As does Trump you cherry pick what you want. It is not 'civilian agency' it is "a civilian position in the agency" vs military position, maybe. You are deliberately or out of ignorance confusing civilian with public vs private to say nothing of quoting a phrase that is not in the paragraph cited.

AlfredSBlakey

It appears I can't even misspell my own name properly.

AlfredSBlakey

Bob P & Kirk: "...Enlighten us to the extent that we all know of that which is true..." If he is so innocent why the big fight to hide his taxes, Hide the Mueller report, Hide from subpoenas, Hide behind so called executive privilege especially for things that are ALREADY PUBLIC knowledge. Why say he doesn't care if "pick a name here" testifies and then claims they should not testify. Why issue a blanket call for no one in his administration to testify before any legislative committee?

Name another "great businessman" who loses over a billion dollars in just ten years. Who claims $54+ million dollars in INTEREST alone in one year but none the year before and none the year after and yet wont allow people to see his tax returns, personal or business to PROVE it. This from a man who has told a documented 10,000 lies in the two years he has been in office. Claims not paying taxes makes him smart and claims people in his rallies who pay taxes are smart. It can't be both ways.

He discusses the Mueller report with Putin but refuses to allow the American people to see it? Are you really that dumb?

He claims he is under audit. Where is the letter showing it? So what, being under audit has no bearing on release of his taxes. EVERYONE else has why not him? What is he hiding? Since 1924 Congress has had the RIGHT BY LAW to see anyone's taxes does he think he is above the law and so refuses?

You have picked a real loser to support, sad.

Bob P

Big Business suffer loss more then you care to acknowledge because the only thing you care to put down is anything to do with Trump. With just a little searching, you could have found out that in 2015 alone, there were 4 companies on the Fortune 500 list that lost more then 10 billion dollars in 2015, With many others losing more then a billion. I realize this does not fit certain narratives out there, but it would be nice if at least a little research was done. As far as what Trump did or did not claim, that's between him, the IRS and our tax laws. He did nothing different that any other big business did, it's just that there are a bunch of people that are still trying to win the 2016 election and are looking for that GOTTCHA moment.

So you have first person proof that Trump discussed the whole Mueller report with Putin, even the Grand jury end of it ? Of course you don't, It's just that GOTTCHA moment again.

AlfredSBlakey

First person, of course not, he does not let the press cover white house meetings with Russians, how could I have first person proof? You set the standards a little high in your efforts to support him. His admitting it is not enough proof for you I guess.

The market fluctuations caused by his policies does more harm to business but that is okay I guess. $27 billion in tax payer bailouts for farmers (first $!2 billion and now $15 billion) for the tariff fiasco with China. AMERICANS pay the tariffs NOT China Bob.

This man knows nothing about how to run a business Bob. He didn't even write the "book". It was ghost written for him Who goes bankrupt running a gambling casino Bob, Who?

Bob P

Your TDS is showing. Some 500 businesses and over 22 thousand employees, I would guess he is far more qualified then you or I. And in first person, The point was more proof then what the left leaning media spews. But you just turn that like the typical lefty does.

Again research is your friend. Casinos are not as profitable as you think. You ask who goes Bankrupt running a gambling casino, let's see. how about the lucky dragon, it opened in 2016 and filed for bankruptcy in 2018. Then there is SLS that replaced the Sahara, facing bankruptcy. How about Ceasars entertainment that filed in 2015,reading over 10 billion in debt. that's 10 billion dollars, remember what you wrote in your first post about Trump losing 1 billion ? Back to casinos that can't make money and file bankruptcy, there is also the Riviera in 2010 and let's not forget MGM resorts that's has lost billions. There's more I am sure, but point made.

AlfredSBlakey

Bob P - again - His admitting it is not proof enough for you!!! If he is such a great business man why is it he can not get financing from ANY American banks. Why did he have to go to the Russians for money?

His dad bought millions of dollars in "chips" that were never used. It was just a means of providing funds to a failing business venture. An illegal means!

Bob P

Over 99% of the report is available for anyone to read, so again your Gottcha moment is gone. As far as his dad, again you are looking for that moment, and it's not there. If any of it was illegal, they would have been charged long before now. Sad that you can't admit it. Nice deflection......as always.

Kirk

Al, Al, Al……..the stock market reactions are simply emotional now and always have been. The 'global market' trades are a fairly recent policy that has lacked from day one the equal trading floor of monetary dollar equivalents. Now, we are going to see a huge development of United States production to counter the tariff wars. Yeah, I am going to pay a little over $700.00 more per year due to the tax implications, but that pails considering the increase costs associated with the failed Obummercare which cost the average working couple and additional $6,000.00-8,000.00 per year and to what benefit to that working couple. You are going to love seeing your local businesses striving to fill job positions.

Kirk

Bob, Al just sees what Al wants to see. He is 'blinded by the light' :-

Kirk

Al, Al , Al...….no one is above the IRS and their directives for an Audit, no one except for Al Sharpton.
The Mueller report is available for your review, read it.
I can name another famous 'businessman' for you and every time your consume this product think of him......bankrupt 3x's no other than my grandfather's cousin..Milton Hershey...….enjoy your hot chocolate, candy bars, Hershey Kisses.....LOL :-)

Kirk

What is your thought about Peter Storek?

Bob P

Ah yes, the impeachment tool. The thing you use when you can't beat him at the polls.

Kirk

"a continuation of the search and exposure of that which we all know is true."
Enlighten us to the extent that we all know of that which is true the real meaning of the constant barrage of false accusations against the President. The tide has now turned to where 'we the people' will get to the bottom of the reasoning for the fake dossiers by your friend Peter Storek :-/
