If we, as a nation, truly believe that no one is above the law, the effort to enforce the law should be absolute. Every effort to bring justice to the forefront should be used. This administration has made it clear there is no intent to share in that consideration. Illegal involvement in the whistleblower proceeding is just the latest evidence. Blanket obstruction by refusing to cooperate even when under subpoena is evident.
There are more than 10 separate, ongoing congressional investigations in House committees Financial Services, Foreign Affairs, Intelligence, Judiciary, Oversight and Ways and Means.
Each of these that directly involve Trump should be included as an article of impeachment. Officially declared by Speaker Pelosi, the House trial on each and every article should move forward as fast as possible. Even Moscow Mitch has admitted the Senate has no choice but to act on the findings of the House.
In the short term, disable the Trump Twitter account. We, the people, have been insulted enough by the blather of 10,000-plus moronic rants using his private account and some 7,200-plus from the POTUS Twitter account. This, from the candidate who stated he would not Tweet if elected: “I don’t know, not presidential.”
He claims the right to face his accuser. That only applies to trial yet he leaves that point out or more likely, just does not understand that point. Every time he opens his mouth lately, he breaks the law. The insinuation that the whistleblower should be executed is just one example.
The ignorance of anyone who still supports what this man is, is now clear for all to see.
