We did our part this year to help the fight against climate change. We made sure the two cars we purchased got better mileage than our last car.

We gained 6 miles per gallon with one car; and 4 miles per gallon with the second car.

What did you do?

Thank you Fred, every bit helps. Since you asked. We have PV solar installed on our home. So far this year the system (14 panels - small by today's standards) has produced 1.32 megawatts of clean power, sent 0.6 megawatts back to the grid for others to use during peak demand time (Net Metering) and saved 1.11 tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere. 26.0 megawatts produced, sent 12.3 megawatts back via net metering and saved 21.9 tons of CO2 since it was installed, The system produces power, cheaper every day, at $0.16008 per kWh currently (GMP charges $0.16446 per kWh and that is going up soon.) This is not for us, it is for the children. Thank you for your efforts.
