Sheldon J. Nadeau rites SOUTH BARRE — The graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Sheldon J. "Shelly" Nadeau, 89, of South Barre Road, was held on Monday, Nov. 4, 2019, at 1 p.m. in the Wilson Cemetery in Lower Websterville. He passed away on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019. The Rev. Rosaire Bisson, assistant pastor of the Christ Community Alliance Church, led the service, reading from Scripture and offering the committal prayers. Military honors were conducted, at the end of the service, by the United States Navy Honor Guard, taps sounded, and the flag was folded and presented to Shelly’s wife, Irene Nadeau. Following the service, Shelly’s family gathered at the American Legion Post #10 on Main Street in Barre for a light luncheon. The Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre, was in charge of the arrangements.
