Phyllis Paquet Painchaud rites BARRE TOWN — The service to honor and celebrate the life of Phyllis Paquet Painchaud, 91, was held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at 1 p.m. in the Wilson Cemetery in Websterville. She passed away on March 28, 2019. The Rev. Hebert Hatch, pastor of the Old Brick Church in East Montpelier, led the service, read from scripture, and offered committal prayers. Grandson, Louis "Chuck" Paquet, defined the word, “Grace,” and related it to his grandmother’s life offering heartfelt remembrances of his memories of her. Following the service, family and friends gathered at the First Baptist Church in Barre for a time of fellowship and sharing. The Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre, was in charge of the arrangements.
