Pauline P. Churchill CABOT — Pauline Phyllis Churchill, 90, died Nov. 25, 2019, at Berlin Health & Rehabilitation Center in Berlin. She was born July 1, 1929, in Burlington, the daughter of Franklin P. and Evangeline M. (Hood) Davis. She graduated in 1947 from Peoples Academy in Morrisville. On Aug. 2, 1947, she married Percy M. Churchill. They operated a family dairy farm in Cabot for more than 50 years. Mrs. Churchill was a member of Cabot United Church. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, family reunions, country music and her cows. Survivors include four sons Melvin, Walter “Rusty,” Andrew, all of Cabot, and Fred Churchill, of Berlin; a foster son, Gary Ward, of Cabot; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; two siblings Arlene Shedd, of Wolcott, Karlene Davis, of Morrisville; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Churchill, in 1950; her husband in 2000; five siblings Ruth Waldie, Shelby Nunn, Frank Davis, Bud and John Hood. To honor her request, all services will be private at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to BAYADA Hospice, 2517 Shelburne Road, Suite #1, Shelburne, VT 05482. Arrangements are by Northern Vermont Funeral Service in Hardwick.
