Paul Andrew Tenney BENNINGTON — Paul Andrew Tenney, 49, died May 30, 2019, at Vermont Veterans' Home in Bennington. He was born Nov. 3, 1969, in Berlin, the son of Walter J. and Bernice “Bea” LaHue Tenney. He graduated in 1987 from Mount Mansfield Union High School. Mr. Tenney enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he was stationed in San Diego, California. After an honorable discharge, he worked in the automotive industry in the Burlington area. At an early age, he enjoyed playing fife in parades and musters competitions with the Green Mountain Fife and Drum Corps and Hannaford’s Volunteer Fife and Drum Corps, along with his parents. Survivors include his son, Andrew, of West Olive, Michigan; his mother, of Chelsea; two sisters Jean, of Barre, and Doris, of Newport News, Virginia; a brother, Don, of Las Vegas, Nevada; and two nieces. The funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, June 5, at Vermont Veterans’ Home chapel in Bennington. Burial will be at a later date in North Troy Cemetery in North Troy. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are by Mahar Funeral Home, Bennington.
