Mona L. Mayo HOPKINTON, N.H. - Mona L. Mayo, of Hopkinton, New Hampshire, formerly of Barre, Vermont, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at St. Theresa’s Rehabilitation Center in Manchester, New Hampshire, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born March 4, 1936, in Randolph, Vermont, and was the middle of three sisters. Mona was employed by the State of Vermont in the Materials and Research Department, and was a member of the United Church of Northfield for many years. She was an exceptional painter, enjoyed gardening and was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and New England Patriots. She was the mother of six children. She leaves behind her daughter, Dawn Rebello (Ron), son Larry Mayo, daughter Kathy John (Peter), daughter Shannon Haught, son Glenn Mayo; her sisters Leah Jennings and Ruth Nye (Peter). She was the grandmother of 10 Graig, Jamie, Art, Elizabeth, Donald, Dawn, Glenn, Brooks, Evan and John; and great-grandmother to 13. She was predeceased by her daughter, Melissa Jacobsen (Jake); grandchildren Graig, John; great-grandchildren Christa and Mikayla Foster.
