Mildred A. Huntington CABOT — Mildred Anna Huntington, 96, of Cabot, died Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Northeast Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury. She was born September 15, 1922 in Washington, Vermont, the daughter of the late Fred and Annie (Colby) Eastman. She attended a one room school in Washington. On September 4, 1958, she married John M. Huntington in Cabot. Following her marriage, Mildred stayed at home to care for her husband and raise her children. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and visiting with friends. Survivors include her children, Rosina Huntington of Cabot, Annie Huntington of Westerville, Paul Bailey of Manchester, NH and Gloria Proulx of Salem, NH; six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John in 2012 and a son, Ronald Bailey. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Northern Vermont Funeral Home, 60 Elm St., Hardwick, with the Rev. Christina Findlay officiating. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contribution in her memory may be made to the Cabot Emergency Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 32, Cabot, Vermont 05647. Arrangements are in the care of Northern Vermont Funeral Service, Hardwick.
