Melanie Lynn Farnham BERLIN — Melanie Lynn Farnham, 69, formerly of Plainfield passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020, at Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin. Born Aug. 26, 1950, she was the daughter of Donald McKnight and Eleanor Papineau McKnight. Melanie had a passion for her family and her Bassett Hound, “Hope.” You could often find Melanie at the local clubs to play bingo with her friends. Melanie is survived by her daughter, Kelly Ballard of Barre; her son, Allen Farnham and partner Laura Paris of Berlin. Melanie is also survived by her three grandchildren, Cort Ballard, Jonathan Ballard and Grier Larivee. At Melanie’s request, there will be no services. I took care of Mel while she was at Berlin. She always lit up when she saw me and talked about wanting me to do private care for her. When I left berlin she cried. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers to her family. She always spoke so highly of you all!
