Kristin L. Newton BARRE TOWN — Kristin Lee Newton, 43, of Lajeunesse Lane, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019, at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, with her family at her bedside. Born Sept. 17, 1975, at Pease Air Force Base in Newington, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of Richard Allen and Myrna (Dwyer) Newton. Kristin attended Berlin Elementary School and graduated from Union 32 High School in 1993. Following graduation, she made her home in Barre. She was employed by Kinney Drug Store before becoming at stay-at-home mom for her children. Kristin was a member of the Hedding United Methodist Church. In her spare time, Kristin enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, concerts, watching football and hockey-the Bruins and Ravens, camping and most of all, spending time with her family. Survivors include her companion of 26 years, Christopher Kenworthy; her daughter, Taylor Paige Kenworthy; her son, Lars Michael Kenworthy; her parents Richard and Myrna Newton; her sister, Kelly Newton; and her grandmother, Gloria Newton. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents George and Arlene Dwyer; and her paternal grandfather, Wayne Newton. The service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre. There are no calling hours.
