Joan T. Moran JEFFERSON CITY, TENN. — Joan Tabor Moran passed away on May 16, 2019 in Jefferson City, Tennessee, surrounded by family. She was born in Randolph, Vermont on May 9, 1936, the daughter of the late Erwin and Barbara (Wheatley) Davis. A graduate of Randolph High School class of 1954, she was married to Duane Tabor in 1955 and resided in Barre, Vermont from 1955-1980. They had a family of six children. Duane died in 1981. After retiring she moved back to Randolph where she lived until 2005. She was married to Joseph Moran in 1984 and he died in 1994. She was a girl Scout leader and district chairman in Barre, VFW Auxiliary president in Randolph and active at the Randolph Area senior center. Joan enjoyed crafts of all kinds and being with family. Survivors include her five children, Skip Tabor, Diann Chaloux, Dennis Tabor Tebbetts, Dona McLaughlin, and Jody Laleme and husband Brian; two sisters, Linda Davis Spaulding and Patricia Davis Bradshaw; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was pre-deceased by son Chuck Tabor; sister Kathy Robertson; grandson Codi Tabor; and granddaughter Amber McLaughlin. Calling hours will be from 12:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Friday, May 24 at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph, with a graveside service following at 2:30 p.m. at the Randolph Center Cemetery.
