James M. Joslin BARRE — James M. Joslin, 56, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019, at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. He was born Nov. 17, 1962, in Barre, the son of Mark and Rosalie (Lavanway) Joslin. He attended school at Spaulding and Williamstown. Mr. Joslin worked in the roofing trade in Florida and later, in Vermont in his brother Jon’s landscaping business, as well as a truck driver and furniture delivery man for Novello’s Furniture for the past 15 years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed racing cars. Survivors include his mother and five siblings Jeffrey, Joey, Jay, Jon and Gina Phillips, all of Barre; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In keeping with his wishes, there are no calling hours. A celebration of his life “pot luck” will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at The Moose Lodge in Williamstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Vermont Humane Society, 1589 VT-14, East Montpelier, VT 05651.
