Gary A. Tomlinson WEST TOPSHAM — Gary Andross Tomlinson, 79, of Route 25, died on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Gary was born in Barre on October 3, 1939 to Hiram L. and Nellie (Andross) Tomlinson. He graduated from Bradford Academy, Class of 1958 before graduating with his Associate Degree in Agriculture from VTC in 1960. On November 25, 1961, he married Yvette Beaulieu. In his early years, Gary worked as a meat cutter and custom butcher. Then he was employed at both Wells-Lamson and Rock of Ages as a quarryman. Gary was a Master Mason with the Minerva Lodge #86 in East Corinth, and a member and former Chief of the Tri-Village Fire Department for over 50 years. He coached Little League and Babe Ruth baseball teams and was the sexton of the Waits River Cemetery. He enjoyed hunting and fishing along with supporting his grandchildren at their sporting events. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Yvette Tomlinson of West Topsham; three sons, Andy Tomlinson of Newbury, Alan Tomlinson and wife Shauna of Sheldon, and Aron Tomlinson and wife Leanna of Bradford; seven grandchildren, Jake, Nathan, Lauren, Hayden, Mason, Lydia, and Haley; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Gene Tomlinson on December 22, 2016. In keeping with Gary’s wishes, there are no public services being planned.
