Carolyn E. Dickinson EAST GRANVILLE — Carolyn Elaine Dickinson, 88, passed away peaceably on Monday, July 8, 2019. She was born in South Royalton Jan. 9, 1931, second eldest child of William Eddy and Stella (Flint) Eddy. She was married to Dwaine Dickinson, of East Granville where they resided most of their married life together raising a family of four. She is survived by three children Sharon Giffin, of Tennessee, Diane Bowditch, of New Hampshire, and Bruce Dickinson, of East Granville; along with six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; and two sisters Merle Pratt, of Connecticut, and Anna May, of Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Dwaine Dickinson; daughter Vicky Jo Arbuckle; sisters Roberta Soule and Marilyn McLaughlin; and her brother, Truman Eddy. She was a woman of great faith who took enjoyment in the simplicity of life. She was an avid reader, enjoyed embroidering, loved fishing and camping and occasional motorcycle and snowmobile outings with her husband, friends and family. Most of all, she had a love for her family and home. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Day Funeral Home in Randolph.
