Burton L. Bailey rites WILLIAMSTOWN — The service to honor and celebrate the life of Burton L. Bailey, 78, of Flint Road, was held on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, at 11 a.m. in the Williamstown Lutheran Church. He passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019. Rev. Calvin Kemp, pastor of the Williamstown Lutheran Church, led the service reading from Scripture. Organist Laura Amell accompanied the congregation in the hymns “In the Garden” and “Amazing Grace.” The pre-recorded song “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” was played as a special musical selection. Following the service, family and friends gathered in the church fellowship hall for a time of reflection and sharing. Inurnment will take place in the Williamstown Village Cemetery in the Spring. The Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre, was in charge of the arrangements.
