Bruce Lamell Jr. CABOT — Bruce Lamell Jr., formerly of Barre, born in Council Grove, Kansas, on June 26, 1974, died in a motorcycle accident on Aug. 8, 2019. Born to Bruce Lamell and Cheryl (Bullard) Smith, he is survived by his brother, Ralph with sister-in-law Heidi and their five children; a stepbrother, Neil and his step-mother Ingrid; his son, Bruce Lamell III; his wife, Jennifer; a granddaughter; and his daughter, Bryonna Lamell. His grandparents were Ralph and Isabell Lamell, of South Barre, as well as a grandfather, Douglas Bullard, who all predeceased him. His grandmother, Phyllis Bullard, still resides in South Barre. He had many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. While growing up, he enjoyed motorcycles and the freedom he experienced while riding them, and loved hunting and fishing. As an adult, he loved mechanics, construction, painting and contract woodwork. He was a perfectionist at what he endeavored. He had a quick, easy laugh and tried lending a hand to those in need. There will be no official services but a suggestion of barbecues and/or bonfires to remember the good times would be a nice memory. His ashes will be scattered at various places in Cabot, which he always felt a home base.
