BROOKFIELD — Vermont State Police say a Connecticut man was found with a large amount of drugs after a traffic stop on Thursday.

Troopers pulled over the vehicle on Interstate 89 for a motor vehicle violation. Alva Lynch, 26, of Hartford, Connecticut, was reportedly a passenger in the vehicle.

Police said an investigation showed Lynch had a large amount of Suboxone, crack cocaine and heroin on his person. He was released on a citation and is scheduled to appear in Orange County criminal court on March 13 to answer the charges of heroin trafficking, heroin importation, possession of crack cocaine and possession of Suboxone.
