WILLISTON — Police say a Richmond man was arrested Saturday morning after being caught driving his motorcycle more than 100 mph in a restricted area of Interstate 89.

Williston police say Dylan Valley, 27, was cited for DUI-2 and negligent operation.

Shortly after 2 a.m., Valley was pulled over in South Burlington after being caught riding 101 mph in a posted 55 mph safety zone.

He is scheduled to appear in Chittenden criminal court on July 25 to face criminal charges of negligent operation and drunk driving.

Valley also was issued a $470 fine for speeding.
