MARSHFIELD – Vermont State Police say a Plainfield teenager attacked another teenager with an aluminum baseball bat.

Police said they responded to Central Vermont Medical Center Tuesday for a report of a male who had injuries after being hit by a bat. The incident occurred at Twinfield Union School, according to police.

Police said an investigation showed Nathan R. Deforge, 16, hit an 18-year-old with the bat while at the baseball field.

Deforge was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Washington County criminal court on a felony count of aggravated assault.
