WATERBURY — Police are investigating a robbery that took place at Billings Mobil over the weekend.

State Police responded on Sunday at about 12:35 a.m. to the business at 758 Waterbury-Stowe Road for a reported robbery, according to a news release.

Police say a man dressed in dark clothing entered the store wielding a knife, and demanded the clerk give him the money in the cash register and a carton of cigarettes.

The suspect is described by police as being in his late 20s to early 30s, medium build and about 6 feet tall. He fled the scene with about $300. No one was injured in the incident.
