Here is a list of road construction projects going on around the state:

Local

I-89 South Barre/Berlin: A ledge removal project in Berlin has closed the Exit 6 northbound off ramp until Tuesday, July 30. Lane reduction and slower speeds will impact traffic.

I-89 Montpelier/Waterbury: Northbound and southbound lanes have a 10.7-mile nighttime paving project that will extend from a point just south of Exit 8 and continue to a point just south of Exit 10 between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday night through Friday morning. No impact on traffic this week. Travelers should also expect possible delays at Exit 10 northbound on Friday afternoon July 19 due to the high traffic volume from people attending the Stowe lacrosse tournaments.

Waterbury/Stowe: VT 100 rehabilitation project has two-way traffic during the day and alternating one-lane traffic during the night requiring slower speeds in the work zones. Travelers should expect delays, in multiple work zones, both day and night. Travelers should also expect delays, at Exit 10 northbound, Friday afternoon, July 19, due to the high traffic volume from people attending the Stowe lacrosse tournaments.

Waterbury: VT 2 Main Street will have no construction after noon on Friday and throughout the weekend due to the Stowe lacrosse tournaments.

Interstates

I-89 Colchester: Between exits 16 and 17 traffic will be reduced to single lane. Travelers should expect lane reductions between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. Normal work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bay Road will have alternating one-lane traffic this week. From 7 p.m. on Friday, July 19, to 6 a.m. Monday, July 22, travelers should expect a lane reduction in each direction. Expect slower speeds, lane reduction and some delays.

I-91: In Rockingham, there is an ongoing bridge replacement project. Expect lane and speed reductions in this work zone so please plan accordingly. Work is scheduled continuously from Mondays at 7 a.m. until noon on Fridays.

Around the state

Newport: VT 191 is closed for slope remediation. It will reopen Friday, Aug. 23. Work hours Monday through Friday are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Look for signed detour.

Brighton: VT 105 has a road resurfacing project. Two-lane traffic this week.

Orleans Village Bridge: VT 58 will have a one-way, alternating traffic pattern and slower speeds impacting traffic this week. Expect delays.

Enosburg/Richford: VT 105/105A has a resurfacing project going on. Expect some delays.

North Hero/Grand Isle: US 2 at the drawbridge has a temporary drawbridge in place. Speed limit set at 25 mph. Cyclists and motorcycles use caution. Attention mariners! The temporary drawbridge opens at the top of the hour between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., seven days a week. Mariners can request drawbridge openings by the Bridge Tender on Channel 13 or at 802-372-4360.

Williston: US 2 has a nighttime paving project that will affect traffic between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. this week. Alternating one-lane traffic and reduced speeds will impact traffic this week.

Essex/Underhill: VT 15 has a repaving project. Travelers should expect day work with alternating one-lane traffic causing extended delays in morning and afternoon commuting hours.

Essex, Jericho-Richmond: VT 117 has alternating one-lane traffic again this week. Travelers should expect delays in this work zone.

Morristown: VT 12 has a resurfacing project. Travelers should expect day work to include alternating one-lane traffic and delays in this work zone.

Bethel: VT 12 has a bridge project going on. Travelers should expect alternating one-lane traffic with minor delays.

Bethel/Royalton/Tunbridge: VT 107 and VT 110 have road improvement projects going on. Travelers should expect alternating one-lane traffic with slower speed limits and delays in these work zones.

Bristol: VT 116 has a bridge project with lane restrictions. Temporary signals are in place.

Brandon/Goshen: VT 73 has a 7.5-mile road improvement project going on. Travelers should expect alternating one-lane traffic and speed reductions. Expect some delays in the work zones.

Rutland/Pittsford: US 7 and VT 3 will have ongoing road improvement projects. US 7 will be preparing for paving later this week. Expect alternating one-lane traffic and delays on both US 7 and VT 3. Travelers should expect extended delays in these work zones.

Rockingham/Clarendon: VT 103 has a 42-mile road improvement project requiring 40 mph speed limit during daytime work hours. Alternating one-lane traffic and slower speeds will affect traffic again this week.

Manchester/Peru/Winhall: VT 11 has a 9.5-mile roadway construction project. Alternating one-lane traffic and delays in multiple work zones should be expected.

Manchester: VT 7A, 11 and 30 have road improvement projects. With daytime and nighttime work on this project, travelers should expect delays and alternating one-lane traffic in multiple work zones.

Springfield: Intersection of US 5 and VT 11 has improvement projects with minimal traffic impacts this week.

Jamaica/Winhall: VT 30 has a paving project extending north from the routes 30 and 100 intersection for 9 miles to the intersection of Route 11 in Winhall. Travelers should expect slower speed limits, delays and alternating one-lane traffic.

Winhall: VT 30 will be closed for a culvert replacement project (for 72 hours) starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 19, and will reopen prior to 6 a.m. on Monday, July 22. Look for a signed detour. The project is located on VT 30 in Bondville, between Stratton Mountain Access Road and West Hill Road.

Upcoming closures

Winhall: VT 30 will be closed for a culvert replacement project (for 72 hours) starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 19, and will reopen prior to 6 a.m. on Monday, July 22. Look for signed detour. The project is located on VT 30 in Bondville, between Stratton Mountain Access Road and West Hill Road.

Fairlee: VT 244 has an upcoming culvert project that will close VT 244 from Friday, Aug. 9 at 6 p.m. until Monday, Aug. 12 at 6 p.m. More information will be available prior to the closing.
