TUNBRIDGE — A motorcyclist faces a drunken driving charge following an accident Friday evening.

Vermont State Police say William Persons, 24, of Braintree, was operating a 2014 Harley-Davidson on Route 110 in Tunbridge when he crashed around 5 p.m.

Upon arrival, police determined Persons appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.

He was transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, where he was treated for his injures and processed for DUI.

He was cited to appear in Orange County Criminal Court on Aug. 28.
