EAST MONTPELIER – A Barre man is accused of driving under the influence in a cemetery.

Vermont State Police said a suspicious vehicle was reported at the entrance of Plainmont Cemetery in East Montpelier Sunday morning. As troopers arrived on scene, the vehicle pulled into the cemetery.

Police said the driver, identified as Thomas Partlow, 32, showed signs of driving under the influence.

Partlow is scheduled to appear in Washington County criminal court Nov. 21 to answer the charges of driving under the influence and unlawful mischief.
