WATERBURY — Waterbury Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, in the Steele Community Room, Waterbury Municipal Building, 28 North Main St., Waterbury. Skip Flanders will present a program of pictures and clippings about the Mount Mansfield Electric Railroad which operated from the Waterbury railroad depot to Main Street, Stowe, from 1897-1932. BARRE — Passumpsic Bank staff recently visited Vermont Foodbank in Barre to present a check representing donations from the bank’s Employee Charitable Donation Program and the Casual Dress Down Day program. Vermont Foodbank partners with schools, hospitals, low-income housing sites and senior centers located statewide. On average, 50% of the food their partner food shelves distribute comes directly from Vermont Foodbank.
