BARRE — Passumpsic Bank made a recent donation to the 100-day Fuel Your Neighbors campaign, supporting Capstone Community Action’s emergency heating program and food shelf. To date, Capstone has raised $135,000 of $200K,000 goal for the campaign which ends in March.

MONTPELIER — Maria Guizler Bonilla, a student at Community College of Vermont in Montpelier, is among the semifinalists for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. Semifinalists are selected on academic ability and achievement, financial need, persistence, service to others and leadership. Scholarship recipients will be announced in April.
