BARRE/NEWPORT — Green Mountain United Way’s board of directors has added two new members. In January, the board unanimously elected Kevin Mead of Newport and Gail Pivetti of Montpelier.

Mead is the International Pemphigus & Pemphigoid Foundation Executive Director and brings fundraising experience, as well as volunteer recruitment and management experience as the VP of Resource Development with Spokane County United Way in Spokane, Washington.

Also joining the board  is Gail Pivetti of Montpelier. Pivetti is Green Mountain Community Fitness Marketing Director in Berlin and brings experience in nonprofit communications and marketing with a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
