RANDOLPH – Vermont Council on Rural Development’s Second Annual Vermont Community Leadership Summit included the following awards:

The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to the executive director of Vermont Housing & Conservation Board, Gus Seelig. He is a past chair and current board member of Vermont Energy Investment Corp., vice chair of Vermont Housing Finance Agency, and town moderator in Calais.

The Community Leadership Award was presented to the co-owner/operator of Craftsbury General Store, Emily McClure. She is vice chair of Craftsbury Planning Commission, co-chair of Center for An Agricultural Economy Board and a host of the annual Craftsbury Block Party.
