A presentation by Janet Pocorobba, Associate Prof. at Lesley College, best known as the writer and illustrator of the popular Madeline books for children.

Most of us know Ludwig Bemelmans as the writer and illustrator of the popular Madeline books for children. But did you know that he wrote for Hollywood, designed sets for Broadway, owned restaurants in South America and Europe, and painted everything from magazine covers to frescos? Through dramatic reading, lecture, and visuals, we’ll explore Bemelmans, man and myth.
