Bread and Puppet presents Emma, a puppet show that uses texts from the anarchist Emma Goldman, poetry by Alexander Pushkin, and the latest news from the Arizona desert to create a picture of the migration of today, which is perforated by walls and weapons. The show pushes against the physical walls of borders, the imagined walls of human difference, and the walls that separate the oppressed from the wall-builders themselves. The show will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Paper Maché Cathedral at Bread and Puppet Theater, 753 Heights Road, Glover, VT and will be accompanied by free sourdough rye bread with aioli. The Bread and Puppet Museum Store will be open afterwards for your perusal. Suggested donation $10-20, no-one turned away for lack of funds. For more information, visit www.breadandpuppet.org.
