Christopher Sharrow of Pittsford stands during his arraignment in Rutland criminal court today on a second-degree murder charge in the death of his girlfriend Kristen Parker.

A Pittsford man charged with killing his girlfriend on Friday pleaded innocent this afternoon to a charge of second-degree murder.

Christopher Sharrow, 35, who entered Rutland criminal court with his hands and legs in chains and dressed in an orange jail jumpsuit, was ordered held on $750,000 bail. His attorney did not contest the bail.

Vermont State Police say they arrested Sharrow early Friday morning after discovering 32-year-old Kristen Parker — his girlfriend and the mother of his two children — dead on the floor of their home on West Creek Road in Pittsford.

Police say Sharrow killed Parker, who he had been dating for five years, during a domestic dispute at their home. Police have not revealed the manner in which Sharrow allegedly murdered Parker.
