Vermont State Police looking for trailer stolen in Dorset

DORSET – Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of a box-style utility trailer from the Safe Place Self Storage facility located on Tennis Way.
The missing trailer is described as a 24-foot, blue 2002 Wells Cargo utility trailer with a single ramp-style door off the back and a side door on the passenger side. The words “Little Rooster Café” are written on both the front and back of the trailer.
It was parked at the storage facility in Dorset and full of catering equipment including grills and propane tanks.
Police said the estimated worth of the trailer’s contents as several thousand dollars.
According to police, the trailer was believed to have been taken between 9 a.m. on Aug. 26 and 5 p.m. on Aug. 29.
