The Times Argus is more than 100 years old and serves as Central Vermont's morning daily newspaper. The newspaper serves the capital region and circulates in areas including Washington, Orange, Lamoille, and Caledonia counties.
Eighty percent of adults in the Barre/Montpelier area read the Times Argus for local news, state government, sports, and advertising information. Adults in central Vermont rely on the Times Argus to keep them informed. The mission of the Times Argus and VermontClassifieds is to be the primary source of news and information for the community and the state of Vermont.
