ROYALTON — The Vermont Journal of Environmental Law is holding its first annual White River environmental law writing competition.
The competition is open to law students across the country for a chance to win $1,000 and publication in the journal, Vermont Law School said in a statement announcing the contest.
Any student pursuing a juris doctor or master of laws degree at an accredited law school in the U.S. can submit an original essay addressing a relevant topic in environmental law, natural resources law, energy law, environmental justice, land use law, animal law or agricultural law.
The deadline for submissions is Dec. 10.
