HARRISON, N.J. ó Bradley Wright-Phillips scored his MLS-leading 18th goal of the season and the 10-man New York Red Bulls beat the New England Revolution 2-1 on Saturday night.
Wright-Phillips curled in a left-footed shot in the 63rd minute for his ninth goal in his last 10 games. Heís a goal away from tying the single-season club record set by Juan Pablo Angel in 2007.
Matt Miazga received a red card for New York (6-6-10) in the second minute of first-half stoppage time for a late challenge of Lee Nguyen.
New Yorkís Dax McCarty tied it at 1 in the second minute after halftime. He settled a ball outside the penalty area and chipped it over the reach of goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth.
Charlie Davies scored on a header in the 20th minute for New England (8-12-2). Teal Bunbury crossed the ball into the box that took a deflection to Davies at the back post.
GALAXY 3, TIMBERS 1
CARSON, Calif. ó Robbie Keane scored twice to help Los Angeles beat Portland.
Keane broke a tie in the 73rd minute, beating defenders to the back post to head home Landon Donovanís left-footed service. Keane converted a penalty shot in the 85th minute to seal the victory. It was his 12th goal of the season, moving him to fourth in MLS.
The Timbers opened the scoring when Diego Valeri converted a free kick into the upper right corner from just outside the box in the 14th minute. Los Angeles nearly tied it in the 29th minute, but Gyasi Zardesí header hit the bar squarely.
The Galaxy (9-4-6) drew even in first-half stoppage time as Zardes didnít miss his next chance, heading Robbie Rogersí left-footed cross past goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts.
Portland fell to 6-7-9.
TORONTO FC 2, IMPACT 0
MONTREAL ó Gilberto and Luke Moore scored in Toronto FCís victory over Montreal.
Gilberto scored in the 11th minute for Toronto (8-7-5) when his shot from inside the 18-yard box rang off the crossbar and landed a foot across the line. Moore made it 2-0 in the 54th minute.
