MONTPELIER The status of waterfowl populations and hunting seasons on and along Lake Champlain will be discussed at two publics meetings next month in Vermont and New York.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation will hold its meeting Aug. 5 at the Skenesborough Rescue Squad building in Whitehall, N.Y.
