• Teen is cited for domestic assault

    MIDDLESEX — Vermont State Police say a Middlesex teen has been cited for domestic assault.

    The name of the 16-year-old has not been released. State police say on July 3 they responded to a report of a woman who had reportedly been assaulted by her daughter on South Bear Swamp Road.

    State police say the teen was cited and temporarily removed from the home until her court date today in Washington County criminal court, when she will answer to the charge.
