    Coolidge’s birth

PLYMOUTH — The President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site will commemorate the nation’s and Coolidge’s birthdays on July 4.

Coolidge is the only U.S. president born on Independence Day. At noon, a march including members of the Vermont National Guard heads to the cemetery where a wreath from the White House will be placed at Coolidge’s gravesite.

A group reading of Coolidge’s autobiography will follow at 2 p.m. at the Union Christian Church in Plymouth.
