• Suspended license brings charge

    BARRE — A Granite City resident has been cited by Vermont State Police on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

    Christopher Lovely, 30, was stopped by state police Tuesday on North Main Street in Barre. After an investigation, state police say, it was discovered Lovely has a criminally suspended license.

    He is to appear in Washington County criminal court July 10 to answer the charge.
