• Police report domestic assault

    WATERBURY CENTER — Vermont State Police say a Waterbury Center man faces a charge of domestic assault.

    State police went to a residence on Spruce Haven Road on Thursday because of a report of domestic assault. Police say an investigation revealed that Lester R. Williams, 64, assaulted a family member during an argument.

    He is scheduled to appear in Washington County criminal court June 26 to answer the charge.
